Tristan Lohner seeks coherent projects that allow him to design pieces that are genuine and strike the right balance between form, marketability and durability. His work focuses on the intimate and sensitive relationship between the object and its user.
Tristan Lohner obtained a degree in cabinet-making, studying under Bernard Daude who was Pierre Paulin’s cabinetmaker at Mobilier National. He then joined the School of Decorative Arts in Paris where he studied product design with Jean-Marie Massaud. At present, Tristan Lohner is the general manager of the RBC group and continues his activities as a designer concurrently.
